Active Email and Phone Number: Your phone number must be unique to you. It will be used to receive all JAMB updates and your profile code.

What Happens When You Get to the Centre?
Once you arrive at your chosen CBT centre with your profile code and e-PIN:
Form Filling: You will be given a blank JAMB template to fill out your bio-data, choice of institutions, and UTME subjects.
Data Entry: An official will type your details into the JAMB registration portal.
Biometric Capture: The official will capture all 10 of your fingerprints and take a live passport photograph of you. Do not let anyone register for you by proxy.
Verification: You will review the typed information on the screen to ensure there are no spelling errors in your name, chosen courses, or subjects.
Completion: Once submitted, the centre will print out your JAMB e-Registration Slip and hand you the compulsory JAMB reading text (novel).
Crucial Tips for a Smooth Registration
Do Not Force Biometrics: If the fingerprint scanner fails to capture your biometrics at the centre, do not allow the officials to use another person’s fingerprint. Report to the JAMB State Office in Umuahia for a specialized capture.
Cross-Check Your Details: Before the final submission at the CBT centre, double-check your name spellings, chosen institutions, and subject combinations. Any corrections made after registration will cost you an extra fee.
A Quick Word of Caution
Double-Check Everything: Errors in your date of birth, name, or subject combination can cost you your admission. Take an extra two minutes to cross-check the computer screen before the official hits “Submit.”
Avoid Regular Cybercafes: No roadside cybercafe is authorized to handle biometric JAMB registrations. If they offer to do it for you, they are simply acting as middlemen to extort you, which can lead to costly mistakes.
